J.A.M. Burgers (1962). Worked as a mate in the Netherlands merchant navy and in the North Sea off-shore industry. Served as a pilot in the Netherlands royal navy. Joined the bar in 1999. Acquired extensive experience in the fields of construction and maritime law and in local and international (arbitration) proceedings. Is part-time lecturer maritime law at the University of the Netherlands Antilles. R.G. Saleh (1976). Worked as an assistant professor at the University of the Netherlands Antilles for five years where he taught private law en did research in the field of corporate law. Is a member of the board of TAR-Justicia, the Netherlands Antilles law magazine. M. Peelen (1978). Obtained her master degree Civil Law at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam (2005-2009). Before she studied HEAO Commercial Economics (1997-2001) in Curaçao at ZOG, at that time part of Fontys Hogescholen Tilburg in the Netherlands. Employed by Burgers advocaten since 2009. Admitted to the bar in 2010. |
